I rock lucas's P mag
my brother and the other 2 monkeys rock pump cockers.
1) you probably will want a barrel kit or an under bored barrel ( a small diameter barrel ) to prevent roll out.
2) pump cocker is the way to go 100%.
I have heard nothing bad about phantoms, but I have been looking for barrel kits for them and find them difficult to come by. you also want to have easy access to spare parts (springs etc.)
so essentially your local shop will dictate what type of pump you get.
3) pumps do NOT shoot any more acurate than any other marker. accuracy is based on 2 factors. one being the barrel to paint match, and the second being the shooter (arguably the third being consistancy, but that tends to be the regulator)
pumps appear to be more accurate because after shooting a pump you learn to be accurate because if you miss, then you are raped by an ego (or timmy, or DM, or whatever other fast marker is the current trend at the local field)
any nelson based valve pump will have auto trigger (hold the trigger and pump for rapid fire) and cocker pumps can have auto trigger too. (it is a little lever attached to the safety on the grip frame and the cocking rod)
your price range and the availability of spare parts will determine what pump you get.
I would recomend a cocker pump with a madman spring kit and a freak kit, but if you want to spend less, I would recomend a cocker pump with mad man (30$) and a SMALL bore barrel to prevent roll out ( balls rolling out of the barrel after you pump and before you shoot)
putting a pump kit on a cocker involves buying the right pump kit (pre 2000, mini, etc.) then it is simply a matter of removing your front pneumatics, and adding the pump guide rod, pump handle, and pump cocking rod. it is easy as hell, so long as you get the right pump kit. if the pump kit is not the right one then the cocking rod will either be too long or too short.
thats about it for now..... if you have any questions then feel free to PM me
