BC TACTICAL
COMMAND
BC Tactical is one of the
largest paintball teams in Canada. We have
roughly 200 members from across the province of
British Columbia. Any organization of this
size needs a command structure that allows it to
function. BC Tactical is no different.
BC Tactical has a top down
command structure that coincides with the 8
regions within BC Tactical.
Each region is a considered a
company:
Region 1 = Company 1
Region 2 = Company 2
Region 3 = Company 3
Region 4 = Company 4
Region 5 = Company 5
Region 6 = Company 6
Region 7 = Company 7
Region 8 = Company 8
There is a level of
organization above the company or regional level
that all regions fall into. This is the
Battalion level. There are 4 battalions in
BC Tactical:
Battalion 1 = Company 1 & 2
Battalion 2 = Company 3 & 4
Battalion 3 = Company 5 & 6
Battalion 4 = Company 7 & 8
Above the Company is the
General Staff which is currently comprised of
Spencer Coyne and Ken Squarebriggs.
Companies.
The Company is broken down
into Platoons. The Platoon level is the
lowest level of BC Tactical organization that
includes a commissioned officer position.
The BC Tactical platoon is based on the regional
district.
The minimum number of
platoons per company is 2.
Below the platoon is the
section. The section is a local team.
So if you are in a team and your team all joins
BC Tactical then they can become a section.
For example you live in Kelowna and you have a
team called Kelowna Mercenaries. Your team
would become a section in Platoon B, Company 3,
Battalion 2.
It sounds way more
complicated than it is.
